They do not deserve any stars at all. My car died at Krogers at 11:00am. I called my insurance roadside assistance to Have my car towed. They sent a text that they would be here at 12:21pm. Time passes then got an update saying they were running late postponed til 100-115. It's 145pm Called back. "Oh I'm just turning in be right there in a minute. Another 10 mins come and goes. Where is the damn customer service. I know they have been in business for years. Simon Fischer used them for business My parents owned S&F. Pathetic!!
Update: They towed the wrong car home!! Not same color. Mine is white. The other one is silver.
When I called them back said where are you. Their response was. We Towed it and it's parked at your house. I'm like no I'm parked next to it at Kroger waiting for it to be towed. Have photos to prove it I rushed home thinking they lied. Oh crap they did towed wrong car. They called back said they are coming to switch cars and take mine home and theirs to their home. How do they know. Who knows Unbelievable. Called cold spring police to inform them their mistake cuz I didn't want them to think their car was stolen
Horrible place with 0 ethics. Was told 2 different prices for them taking my vehicle. Charges for the tow, seperarte charge for LABOR(?? Isn't that the tow??) Oh and storage...haha. One overnight and picked up the next morning scores you TWO storage fees, then you get slapped with a FRANCHISE FEE (???!)..then 3% of the whole total with tax for using a debit or credit card. They are crooks.

I hit a deer on the highway and totaled my car. Called fenders wreckers because they were the nearest towing company to me. I gave Sue my credit card info over the phone to pay $96 to take the car where I needed it to go. I get a ride home and 30 minutes later I receive a call from a different rude female saying it would be $125 and they still hadn't even picked up my car. I explained to her that was not right and they already set the price with me, she got extremely rude showed no compassion, and hung up on me telling me to find someone else to tow it. I am very unhappy about this situation, and I hate that a company this grimy is running that kind of business on people. Any chance I get to tell someone about my bad experience here, I will tell them!
Very poor, very unprofessional
Called my insurance insurance company, Geico, and they stated I was covered up to 26 miles with my roadside assistance coverage and that the car would be picked up within the hour (called in @ 11:10). About 15 minutes later, I was called by Fender's Wrecker Service dispatcher to sell me repair services on my vehicle which I declined. I then asked the dispatcher if I should leave work now to meet the driver? She replied yes. I left work and went home...the tow truck operator did not show up for over an hour (12:40). Then after the vehicle was delivered, I was contacted by the driver to cover the overage charges. According to Google, the mileage to the location I chose to have the vehicle delivered was 27.4 miles, so I expected some overage. However, the driver stated it took 36 miles. I asked which route he took and he took the highway route prescribed by Google. I can understand some overage, but 8.5 miles (or 33% more) is excessive and feels like I was taken advantage of. I called the office and spoke to the owner to ask how her driver could have such a discrepancy? Her response was sites like Google and Mapquest are not very accurate...hmmmm I then offered to split the difference in miles, which she declined. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Larry (the tow truck driver) was parked blocking an entire street, with his driver side door open. I pulled up expecting him to get back in his truck. However, he appeared in the driveway next to me and proceeded to berate me in front of my child. He called me every name in the book. I backed up and waited patiently for him to leave. A few minutes later he flipped me off and drove off. Running red lights to get a way from me because I had asked his name during our exchange and his reply was "My name's Larry M****r F*****r. I had to follow him all the way to a dealership to get his information. When I called to report his awful behavior the lady that answered the phone said I was at fault and he is the best employee they've ever had. He has been there for fifteen years. I can't believe in this day and age Larry is employable. Good luck Fender's. You're going to need it judging by the previous reviews I've read. Good luck Larry.
Can't believe what just happened.I called for a towing service through Verizon Roadside Assistance.They were sending a tow from Fender's Wrecker Service in Newport, KY.Said the wait would be 60 minutes.After I waited until over 90 minutes (1 1/2 hours), I called Fenders to see where the driver was. She said he was "on his way and should be there any second".15 more minutes and still not here. I called Fenders back. She said "he is on his way and should be there any second". I asked if he couldn't make it, should I get another service.Her immediate response was "I'm cancelling the service" I said not to cancel, I still need the tow, just want to know if he is going to get here.Again, she said "I'm cancelling. You said you were getting another service."I said I still need a tow and don't cancel. I will call verizon and they can handle it.She again, said "I'm cancelling" and hung up.So, here I am more than 2 hours later with no tow. Are you kidding me?Was I frustrated? You bet. But never unreasonable or irate. She, on the other hand was very short with me and rude, did not try to handle the situation or even understand my perspective sitting with my car waiting for over 2 hours.Called Verizon. They said they got the cancellation and Fenders told them I cancelled. Not true.Filled out a complaint with verizon.Sending another service. Verizon was great.ABC Towing showed up within 20 minutes. Driver was great. Service was outstanding.Guess who you should never use for towing?And, by the way, after telling many people about my horrible experience with Fenders, I found out that this is not uncommon with them.Please just don't "take it" when you get bad service. There are many good, honest and ethical people that want your business. Stand up to the one's who treat you terrible and support the one's that do a great job! And let people know both ways.
Horrible!!! I was left waiting for a tow truck for 2 hours!! Called them and they said the truck was on their way, they did not arrive until a hour later!! I live less than 10 minutes from the place!
I almost gave these guys a call last night, but after I read the previous reviews, I changed my mind. After the night I was having, the last thing I needed to worry about was having my belongings stolen out of my car behind my back by a tow truck driver! Times are hard, but to take advantage of someone when they are already down on their luck is very rude and unprofessional. They won't be in business long hiring people like that! Taking care of the customer should come first and it seems like Fender's doesn't care about that. Oh well, I skipped Fender's and used Bob's Towing instead!
I wouldnt recommend these guys to anyone, unless they were my wrost enemy! For starters when I called to order the tow, the dispatch lady sounded annoyed that I even called. She was short and impatient about the questions that I had. I was told a tow truck would be coming within 30-45min but it ended up taking them 2hours & 45mins! When the tow truck guy finally arrived, he was rudly unappologetic about his tardiness. I followed him to Midas which based on my phones mapquest app was approx 30miles away. However after being quoted $2per mile for some reason my total came to $90! Also, I noticed I was missing a few CD's & $2 bucks that I had laying in my change consel. This was by far the WROST towing experience ever! I definitely wont be using these Petty Rude Unprofessional Jerks again! FUTURE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS *BEWARE* You've Been Warned
THIS IS THE WORST TOWING COMPANY IN TOWN! THEY WILL TOW YOUR VEHICLE AND STEAL YOUR STUFF! I REFERRED THEM TO MY CO WORKER WHO NEEDED HER CAR TOWED AND I FEEL BAD BECAUSE THE GUY STOLE HER GPS. THIS GIRL USES HER GPS EVERYDAY FOR WORK AND I JUST FEEL AWFUL BECAUSE SHE HAD TO SPEND MONEY ON A NEW ONE JUST TO BE ABLE TO MEET WITH HER CLIENTS AND JUST DO HER JOB. SHE IS SO DEPENDENT ON HER GPS FOR WORK, THAT WHEN SHE SAYS THAT SHE LOOKED IN HER CONSOLE AND FOUND IT GONE AFTER THE GUY TOWED HER, I BELIEVE HER!
